Together with Disko we decided to go and check out the London's Nike early in the morning, as the only published info was the date of release (18.09) and the place - Nike Sportswear Flagship Store. I don't think there is any sense in repeating commonly known things about people involved in the project, or their inspirations, so I will skip right to the event itself.

We arrived there quite early, so at 6:45 am we were able to get places #3 and #4 in the queue. Luckily, the first two guys reserved other sizes then we needed, so all our potential problems were gone. As people kept comming, at 11:30am (planned store's opening time) there were already over 40 people in the line. The store was actually opened a little later, which is a normal thing for 1948.
And there goes a BIG disappointment - quality of most of pairs is tragic! In case of my size (11uk) I was said that it is the only pair (as you remember, I was the 3rd in the line..). So this time, instead of detailed pics of the shoes on foot, I give you some bonus shots of defects, that I spotted in my pair of "brand new" sneakers...

Nike keeps suprising us with its quality, which unfortunately leaves quite a lot of scope for the competition. On the other hand, the kicks look so damn good on the foot, that you can sometimes forget about a few little failures..
