
Polish sneakerheads have been very interested in some new releases by infamous Deichmann footwear chain lately. Black/Blue runners draw attention of many of Air Max fans. We got to take a peek into AW 2009/2010 Homme Catalogue and it appears that there are some more "friendly" looking styles in there. S&f: Where do yo get your ideas and inspirations from?
M.T.: I travel a lot, not only in Europe. For me, as a designer, big afflatus is Shanghai, Hong Kong and Tokyo.
S&f: How long does it take to execute a project?
M.T.: First drawings take only a few minutes. But brand new, complete project, with colour samples and project of the sole takes obviously much more time.

S&f: What do you find so unusual in footwear designer job? What gives you the most satisfaction?
M.T.: As a designer, I can use my own ideas and experiences in the project. And when, basing on my work, the prototype is created, and then finally the proper product that additionally is seling well - that is something to be proud of!
